Where is Dane County?

Dane County is in south-central Wisconsin, in the middle of the USA.

Dane County is home to Madison, the state capitol and the main site of the state university. The Madison area includes several suburbs, and is around 375,000 total.

Dane County is also a farming county, with much dairy, corn and soybeans.

The government of the county includes a County Board of elected representatives by region, and a County Executive.
